Kalina Gallardo is a Youth Voice Community Partner,  completing her senior year at Kunsmiller Creative Arts Academy. Throughout her high school career Kalina has established her presence and made an impact in Denver Public Schools as a member of the executive leadership team on the Student Board of Education. Most recently Kalina has found a love for education, and social improvement as a 2015 teaching fellow with Generation Teach Summer Academy. Kalina infuses her interest in the performing arts with her commitment to civic involvement through developing her  public speaking  and communication skills. Kalina also practices incorporating creative approaches into her ongoing collaborations with non-profit organizations such as Together Colorado, in the city with the Mayor's Office of Children's Affairs and in the creative industries as an intern at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, and Think 360 Arts for learning.Kalina's long term journey consists of mobilizing the voice of her generation through modeling the incredible power of youth adult collaboration, and fostering the creation of those opportunities for all rising citizens to find their voice.  Kalina Gallardo is a forward thinking , problem solver with ambitious dreams for a better world propelled by the energy, and investment in humanity to turn those dreams into realities, and she is well on her way.
